Arbitration is a process where an arbitrator receives evidence from disputing parties, and after reviewing the submitted evidence, the Arbitrator renders a final decision that is often binding. Arbitration was designed as a quicker, more efficient substitute for litigation. The process operates within the “procedural due process” standard but with greater flexibility than a lengthy judicial process.
Ms. Browning currently serves in the role of arbitrator for the Texas Comptroller, arbitrating both property tax cases and medical billing cases. She also arbitrates Medical Billing cases in Virginia. Ms. Browning believes that the bedrock of a good arbitrator is to ensure a fair, expedient, and impartial process for all participants in the arbitration.
Ms. Browning is also available to arbitrate as a private arbitrator, and parties may reach out to inquire her rates.
Ms. Browning has completed Arbitration Training and the Certification process in Commercial Law Arbitration with the Delaware State Bar Association. She is a DSBA certified Arbitrator in Commercial Law and will take Delaware Superior Cases upon appointment.
